I have personally found that my edges become dry quickly, so I moisturize them a little every other day. In the winter I try to wear styles that help to retain moisture in my hair. Bantu knots, updos, head wraps, rolling locs on to pipe cleaners or simply braiding sections, help to prevent locs from drying out as quickly.
With so many products on the market, one can become confused or overwhelmed when it comes to choosing a moisturizing regimen. Here are a few things to keep in mind:
